New York is an icon for the world’s most prominent and influential fashion industry. It is home to some of the greatest designers, photographers, and up-and-coming talents. One of its most iconic symbols would be the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island in Upper Manhattan.

New York City is recognized as „the world’s premier destination for fashion”. New York Fashion Week was established in 1965 by the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
